      Many turbochargers are built for a stock and oil pressure profile that is much lower than modern and high performance engines, and supplying these turbochargers with adequate oil pressure has always been a challenge. Conventional methods of limiting oil pressure include throttles, which are designed to reduce pressure - but this also reduces flow.

      The OPRt40 from Turbosmart is a true regulator that can achieve 40psi oil pressure without compromising oil flow. This simplifies throttle or inlet/outlet hose selection and ensures that oil gets to the turbocharger, but never exceeds manufacturer tolerances - This provides a stable oil pressure that is within manufacturer tolerances.
